Dr. Parasnis has obtainted MBBS from BJ Medical College, Pune, MS. General Surgery from Sassoon General Hospitals, Pune and DNB Surgical Oncology from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.

Dr. Parasnis is highly familiar with the diagnosis and treatment of multiple cancer sites. He has performed more than 10000 surgeries. His vast experience in various cancer surgeries includes Breast, Cervix, Head and Neck, Thyroid, pancreas, Colon, Rectal, kidney and Cytoreductive surgery for Ovarian Cancer.

Dr. Parasnis underwent extensive training in surgeries and management of all types of cancers at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai.

Dr. Parasnis also worked at National Cancer Centre and Saisekai Hospital, Tokyo, Japan, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, USA as a visiting fellow in Thoracic and Hepatobiliary Oncology.
